When Loneliness Depletes You

Oct 02, 2024

Hello Parents,

When we bring our children home in adoption or if we are struggling with trauma in our children for whatever reason, a kind of isolation can set into our bones like the cold chill of winter, because the trauma behavior our children exhibit is over the top, to say the least.  Little by little our friend groups can dwindle, and we can really begin to feel all alone in the struggle.

The U.S. Surgeon General reports this, “We are in an epidemic of loneliness.”  Don’t struggle alone in isolation. Check out this awesome group of parents supporting each other for self-care, ideas, crowdsourcing, and love in the Love Matters Parenting Society Therapeutic Parent Program.  You will not only get an instant group of like-minded friends, but you will also get some answers to the behavior issues you are experiencing in your traumatized children.  Yes, there are answers, and you don’t have to go it alone anymore.

Local adoption agencies, state adoption support services, and virtual communities like the one I mentioned above are stating points.

Love Matters,

❤️Ce
